About Us

Both Penny and Doug McKesson, owners of Goodtime Touring Company, have developed a passion for eating and cooking. Doug has a restaurant background, but Penny has gone the extra mile and attended and assisted with cooking classes for the past 30+ years:

•  French & Continental Cuisine
•  Rita Leinwand, graduate of the Cordon Bleu in Paris
•  Home Chef Cooking School - Corte Madera
•  Ramekins Culinary School , Sonoma , 1998-present - Attends classes and is part of the Kitchen Assistants program. Has worked with chefs John Ash, Joanne Weir, Linda Carucci, Michele Anna Jordan, Deborah Madison, just to name a few.

Doug is a former Mayor of Sonoma, and due to his familiarity and popularity within the community has developed wide-ranging relationships with winemakers, cheese makers, and a broad cross-section of businesses and individuals.

Both Doug and Penny have enjoyed entertaining and cooking for family and friends, so combining their love of biking and cooking seems a "natural".
